bms fully launches the ASE project to enter ophthalmology

with clinical research on its unique medical consumable ASE80ms!

With the support of a local blood bank, the first round of clinical research on Sterile Serum Doser for Eye ASE80s was a complete success on Aug 29, 2022.   ASE80s, developed for 5 years to treat dry eyes, attracted a group of trial volunteer. After each participant donated their own blood, ASE （Autogenous Serum Eyedrops) were extracted and prepared aseptically in batches, everyone obtained over 100 pieces of ASE80s free of charge and took home for dry eyes treatment.

bms has created the "standard five-step process" from wholeblood collection, efficient extraction, closed preparation, sterile packaging to final safe applicaton. Professor Li, Ophthalmology Department of Wuhan Tongji Hospital said: "bms ASE project is worth spreading with broad prospects, its core value lies in the original sterile application method, including innovative design , delivery accuracy drop by drop and safe treatment ."

With the mission to be the messenger for eyes-biocare, bms will enrich with active bio-factors extracted from blood to treat those wide range of dry-eyes people, with an growing incidence rate up to 30%.
